I love skating! I fell in love with the sport since those first moments on the ice as a young skater. As a coach, my goals center around instilling in my skaters a deep appreciation for commitment, effort, and goal setting in their daily practice. I have a profound love for skating, and my ultimate objective is to inspire that same passion within each of my athletes. I firmly believe that by nurturing their dedication, encouraging them to give their best effort, and guiding them in setting meaningful goals, I can empower them to reach their personal best in skating and all aspects of their lives, extending far beyond the ice rink. My philosophy of coaching is to instill a love and a passion for their sport within the athlete. While they will work hard and sacrifice much to succeed, they must have fun doing it at the same time. I want skaters and parents to know that skating will be a journey and not an event. There will be lots of twists and turns along the way. There will be days and periods where they will experience plateaus of learning and then times of rapid improvement. There will be days of disappointment and days of exhilaration and they will also forge friendships and connections that will last a lifetime as I have.
